What is Digital Security?

Take some time with us and see how to keep your assets safe online.

We’re heading now into the 2030’s and suffice it to say, we’ve entered into an entirely new era. An era within an era, really. Most would agree that the invention of the internet itself was a massive step forward—and signifying the introduction of a new way of life—a technologically oriented way, a way entirely unlike anything that has ever existed before. Times are changing faster than ever and technology is advancing faster than ever. In past centuries we’d go generations without any major technological change. Now we have a generation growing up surrounded by artificial intelligence on every level. Some may lament that this is a horrible, terrible thing—something to be ashamed of. But the truth is that things simply are the way they are, with no care nor need to be focused on anyone’s particular worldview. Once the technology is discovered—it can hardly be hidden again. When we progress, we strive to progress forward, in such a way that stimulates further innovation. When new technology is invented, it doesn’t always follow a clear path of intent—oftentimes it’s assessed as something with some use cases, and is nurtured and developed over time from there. That is to say that technology can help, as well as hurt people, depending on how it’s used. All this is to say that, realistically, technology isn’t going anywhere. It’s here, and it’s here to stay. And this ever-increasing AI-focused world we’re living in—it isn’t going anywhere either.

Cryptocurrencies and digital assets are fairly new to the scene but in the short time that Bitcoin has been around—it has sparked endless discussion in the money-making-world—how it can completely transform the financial landscape we operate in. And Bitcoin is merely the tip of the iceberg when it comes to digital assets and what they’re capable of. Yes, the technology is here to stay and can be massively revolutionary—however, it still has to be nurtured, and in the context of an independent operator, which is to say an individual person that wants to buy, sell, use, trade, or do anything with it, there must be safety protocols in place. There must be processes which a person uses to safely purchase, let alone store (especially long-term), digital assets like Bitcoin. Of course different countries have different regulations as well. The whole cryptoverse, as it’s often called, can appear to many to be a confusing web of opportunity—people see the potential for progress, or even money-making, but without education in this field in not just how the technology itself works, but in how the regulatory bodies and exchanges work, then it’s all for naught. Not to mention the digital vultures lurking at every nook and cranny in the ecosystem, phishing, lying, scamming, and cheating their way by any means necessary to scam people out of their digital assets. Truth be told—digital assets can be a sound investment that yield great returns, or they can be a complete joke where your money is simply clicked into, for all intents and purposes, non-existence.

One of my goals when I started LASS, way back when, was to offer a service like this. To offer a way for people that may not have the best avenues for education in this field, or anyone that they can trust, to be able to explore this cryptoverse. I’m offering, via consultations, to be your tour guide—someone that can help you explore the field and be a one-on-one confidant for all your questions and concerns. The advantage here is that you have access to me, in the flesh, not just on a video or video call. I will assist in getting into fields including but not limited to:
